Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 ergonomics, Vijeo™ Historian software adopts your application view to provide reports and recordings on your databases. Simple to use, it combines performance and security in a totally integrated offer.

Vijeo Historian V4.30, the latest version of this best-in-class, real-time historian software, is now available and offers the following enhancements:

• Fully compatible with Microsoft® Windows® 7, enabling users to take advantage of the faster speed and increased data protection built into Microsoft Windows 7. Full support for Microsoft Windows Server® 2003 R2, Microsoft Windows Server® 2008 R2 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (Standard edition). All systems can run on 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the operating system. This is in addition to continued support for all currently supported Microsoft operating systems.
• Enhanced reports using the new Dundas chart controls available in SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services (SSRS). The new chart controls support new chart types, provide more control over axes and formulas, and an improved user interface that makes it easier to create and work with charts. As a result the reports have enhanced data layout, visualization and text formatting. Dundas Controls also offers Dundas Gauge, which adds dashboard and scorecarding features to the reports.
• Performance improvements to Vijeo Historian Web Client and Configuration Manager have resulted in improved CPU utilization, faster data retrievals and service start improvements.

• Report generation — Microsoft® interface allows a variety of reports in various formats, including PDF, Excel, File sharing, “Drag-and-drop” functionality and conformity of reports to current standards
• Data Reporting — Automatic synchronization of active data on server in the event of server failure, optimization of exchanges between SCADA and database by an advanced compression algorithm, data availability in application view, recipes, secured system
• Additional features — OPC DA Client, Process Analyst, Energy reports (at no extra charge), Timer Server synchronization, Microsoft® Vista® and Longhorn® support
