UL 9422 Flange-Mounted, Disconnect Switches and Circuit Breaker Mechanisms

The Type T disconnect switches are designed for control panel installations.

Disconnect Switches Feature
  • Disconnect switch is available from 30-400A size
  • One common switch profile for 30-100A switches
  • Interchangeable fuse clips 30-60A and the ability to add fuse clip kits and cable mechanisms for flexibility
  • Also designed for variable depth, flange mounting applications with 200-400A switches
  • Fully compatible with the 9422 handle operators and 9423 door closing mechanisms for a wide range of applications
  • Fusible (Class H, K, J, or R fuses) and Non-Fusible
  • Right or left flange mounting except 400A, which mounts only right
  • 30-200A also shipped with switch and external handle assembled to a bracket, ready for installation into the enclosure. A trim plate is provided with each kit to eliminate any mounting screws from being accessible from the front and also to provide attractive installation
  • UL recognized and CSA certified
NEMA 9422 Handle Mechanisms Feature
  • Used with all disconnect switch and circuit breaker installations
  • Kit contains all parts necessary for conveniently mounting the handle to the flange of the enclosure
  • Two mounting methods offered for flexibility
  • Types A1-A4 and A9-A10 are suitable for right or left hand flange mounting
  • Types A5-A8 are designed for right hand mounting only
  • Flexible cable mechanisms are especially designed for tall, deep enclosures where placement flexibility is required
  • Dual Cable Operating Mechanisms allow for a single handle operator to operate two circuit breakers
    • For use with PowerPact H-frame, PowerPact J-frame and PowerPact D-frame breakers
    • Use separate cables for each circuit breaker and use rugged metal handle operator
    • Maximized flexibility of circuit breaker placement for existing and new applications
    • Control panel can be fed from two separate supply voltages, if required
    • Dual mechanism allows both separate supply voltages to be controlled by a single handle to improve security features
  • Variable Depth Mechanisms are designed for installation in custom built control enclosures where main or branch circuit protective devices are required
  • UL recognized, CSA certified
