Ethernet-ready PLC Platforms

Quantum and Premium platforms are Ethernet-ready and can be used to coordinate I/O or data transfer between a PLC and up to 64 cyclically scanned I/O devices, as well as up to 32 simultaneous Modbus TCP/IP server connections, satisfying the requirement for real-time access to diagnostics, system health or maintenance remotely or locally.

Features include:

• Integrated 10/100 Base-T (RR45 connector) and integrated 100Base-FX (MT-RJ connector)
• Embedded web server and I/O scanner for both the Quantum and Premium PLCs
• Automatic Hot Standby address swapping (with Modicon Quantum)
• Embedded web pages/HTTP server
• Flash file system BOOTP client and server SNMP V2 for network management
