Performance

The Lexium 32 servo drive offer increases the productivity of your machine with peak performance values and outstanding motor control.  These book-size drives pack maximum power into minimum volume.  This saves on cabinet space and size, reduces the machine footprint and decreases cost.  Our auto-tuning function is tuned to your level of expertise: from Wizard to Comfort to Expert.  To simplify installation and maintenance all the connectors are color coded and easy accessible from the front or the top of the drives.  Optional Memory Cards let you parameterize servo drives without a PC in just a fraction of the time.  

Lexium 32 servo drives:

• 100…120 V single phase, from 0.5 to 08 kW
• 200…240 V single phase, from 0.3 to 1.6 kW
• 380…480 V 3-phase, from 0.44 to 7 kW

The entire range conforms to international standards IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3, has UL and CSA certified and RoHS compliant.

Flexibility - Open for the world of motion

Depending on the model, Lexium 32 supports a wide selection of communications:

• Lexium 32 Compact drive comes with +/- 10V and pulse train input on board.  It supports the needs of your simple motion applications.  Operating modes: jog, electronic gear, speed control and torque Control.
• Lexium 32 Advance drives come with CANopen/CANmotion on board.  Ideal for your motion centric applications.  Operating modes: CANopen and CANmotion cyclic synchronous modes
• Lexium 32 Modular drive comes with options for communication modules: CANopen/CANmotion, DeviceNet, PROFIBUS DP and EtherNet/IP.  Ideal to be integrated into new or existing Programmable Logic Controller or Motion Controller architectures regardless of supplier. Operating modes: motion sequence, motion modes and CANmotion cyclic synchronous mode.

Safety

All the Lexium 32 servo drives come with integrated safety on board “Safe Torque Off” as per IEC/EN 61800-5-2.  Additional safety modules eSM are available with the Lexium 32 Modular drive, which offer following safety functions as per IEC/EN 61800-5-2: Safe Stop 1 (SS1), Safe Stop 2 (SS2), Safety Limited Speed (SLS), and Safe Operating Stop (SOS).

BMH and BSH servo motors: Dynamics and Power

BMH and BSH servo motors are synchronous three-phase motors, which feature a SinCos Hiperface® encoder (single or multi-turn), untapped or keyed shaft end and are available with or without a holding brake.

BMH servo motor:

• Nominal torque:  from 1.2 to 84 Nm
• Nominal speed: from 1200 to6000 RPM

Thanks to our new design this medium inertia motors enable higher load inertia per motor frame size increasing the gain for settling, therefore satisfying the requirements for robust load and plug-and-play motion tuning.

BSH servo motor:

• Nominal torque:  from 0.5 to 36 Nm
• Nominal speed: from 1500 to 8000 RPM

Thanks to the new winding technology which is based on salient poles, BSH servo motors are compact and have a high power density. The low inertia of the rotor and minimal effect of notches help meet the demands for accuracy and dynamic performance.
