PowerPact P-frame Electronic Motor Circuit Protectors

PowerPact® P-frame Electronic Motor Circuit Protectors (MCP) are instantaneous-trip circuit breakers designed to offer motor short circuit protection. These are NEC® compliant when installed as part of a combination controller having motor overload protection. They offer simple solutions that deliver more reliable start-ups, provide better protection of equipment and adjust for a wide range of motor starters.

  • Designed for motor control applications from 600-1200A
  • Adjustable trip range between 1200 and 10,000A
  • Available in J-interrupting 25kA @ 600Vac and L-interrupting 100 kA @ 480Vac, determined by testing the motor circuit protector in combination with a contactor and overload relay
  • UL magnetic trip setting tolerances are -20% and +30% from the nominal value
  • Available in unit-mount and I-Line® construction
  • Extensive selection of snap-in field installable accessories same as the equivalent PowerPact P-frame circuit breaker
