FA/ LA molded case circuit breakers provide basic thermal magnetic protection. Their primary functions are to provide a means to manually open a circuit and automatically open a circuit under overload or short circuit conditions.

FA Features
  • Available in 1-2-3 pole design
  • Available from 15-100 A at up to 600 Vac and 250 Vdc
  • Interrupting ratings
    • 18 kA at 480Y /277 Vac 10 kA at 125 Vdc in 1-pole
    • 18 kA at 480 Vac and 10 kA at 250 Vdc in 2-3 pole design
  • FHL-DC is available for 500Vdc protection for ungrounded dc systems from 30–100 A
  • Shunt trip, Under voltage release, auxiliary switches, and alarm switches are available as factory-installed option only
  • Motor Operator, Handle Operators, Mechanical interlocks, Handle padlock attachment are available for field-installation for flexibility
  • Available in Unit-mount, I-line and rear-connected constructions
  • UL 489 Listed, CSA, IEC certified
LA Features
  • Available in 2-3 pole design
  • Available from 125-400 A at up to 600 Vac and 250 Vdc
  • Interrupting ratings 30 kA at 480 Vdc and 10 kA at 250 Vdc. LH is available with 35 kA at 480 Vac and 50 kA at 250 Vdc
  • LHL-DC is available for 500 Vdc UPS (ungrounded dc) systems ranging from 250-400 A
  • Field installable shunt trip, under voltage release, auxiliary switches, alarm switches, motor operator, handle operators, handle padlock attachment for flexibility
  • Available in Unit-mount, I-line, rear-connect constructions
  • UL 489, CSA, IEC certified
