Micrologic Trip Units

For PowerPact P- and R-frame and Masterpact NW/NT power circuit breakers.

PowerPact® P- and R-frame molded case circuit breakers and all Masterpact® power circuit breakers are equipped with the Micrologic® trip system to protect power circuits and loads. Micrologic trip systems use a set of current transformers (called CTs or sensors) to sense the current, a trip unit to evaluate the current m and a tripping solenoid to trip the circuit breaker. Micrologic trip-units are field-interchangeable.

Protection Level

2.0 – LS0: Long Time+ Short Time+ Zero Delay protection, IEC rated
3.0 – LI: Long Time + Instantaneous protection, UL Listed and ANSI Certified
5.0 – LSI: Long Time + Short Time + Instantaneous protection, UL Listed, ANSI Certified, and IEC Rated
6.0 – LSIG: Long Time + Short Time + Instantaneous + Ground fault protection, UL Listed, ANSI Certified, and IEC Rated

  • Digital ammeter—phase and neutral (4-pole only)
  • Phase loading bar graph
  • LED trip indication
  • Zone-selective interlocking (ZSI) (short-time & ground-fault)
  • Optional Modbus® communications—PowerLogic® compatible
Micrologic (Power) 5.0P and 6.0P Trip Units

Power measurement and advanced protection features includes all features listed for Micrologic ammeter trip unit, as well as:

  • LSI trip configuration with programmable ground fault alarm
  • LSIG (Ground-fault trip) with programmable ground fault alarm
  • Incremental “fine tuning” of L, S, I, and G pickup and delay settings
  • LCD dot matrix display and LED trip indication
