Circuit Breakers with built-in Ground-fault Protection

Circuit breakers with overload, short-circuit, and ground-fault protection

Circuit breakers provide overload and short circuit protection. They may also be used to provide ground-fault protection of equipment at a minimum 30mA level. These are designed to meet UL 1053 standard for equipment protection. Some breakers help provide people protection when a fault current to ground is 6mA or more to meet UL 943 Class A standard.
